Concord are delighted to welcome Dan Kocurek into the musical direction of the band.
Dan is a trumpeter and conductor from the US but now lives in Denmark, where he is finishing study at the Royal Danish Academy of Music. He has a broad background both as a trumpet player and conductor – along with being substitute trumpet with the Copenhagen Jazz Orchestra, Dan is currently lead trumpet for “She Loves You”, a world-premiere theatre production at Tivoli, using the music of John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Dan is a Wedge and Yamaha Performing Artist.
The band are very excited and look forward to the collaboration with Dan. You can experience Dan and the band in action at the Double Concert with EMBL, on the 8th of May.
